Welcome to SellerLens. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name and profile information
  • Password (encrypted)

2.2 eBay Integration Data

When you connect your eBay account, we access:

  • Order information and transaction history
  • Inventory and listing data
  • Product images and descriptions
  • Sales and fee information

2.3 SellerLens for Vinted (Chrome extension)

If you install the SellerLens for Vinted extension and connect it to your SellerLens account, it reads, from vinted.co.uk in your own signed-in browser:

  • Your sold orders and their details (item, price, date, status, postage status, buyer country)
  • Your current listings (title, price, status, brand, size, views, favourites, photo, link)
  • Your Vinted user id and username, and your current Vinted balance statement

This data is sent only to SellerLens and used only to show your Vinted sales, listings and profit in your account. The extension is read-only: it never lists, edits, messages, buys or changes anything on Vinted. It never asks for, reads or stores your Vinted password; it uses a revocable SellerLens pairing token, which you can remove at any time from the extension or from Settings. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. Disconnecting stops all further imports; you can ask us to delete imported Vinted data at any time (see Contact Us).

2.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • Browser type and version
  • Device information
  • IP address
  • Usage patterns and feature interactions

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our service
  • Sync your eBay data and calculate profits
  • Process subscription payments via Stripe
  • Send service notifications and updates
  • Improve our features and user experience
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • eBay API: To sync your marketplace data
  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Supabase: For database and authentication
  • Resend: For email notifications
  • Google Analytics: Page and product-use measurement. Cookies are only set if you allow analytics; otherwise Google receives cookieless signals only.
  • Google Ads: Campaign and conversion measurement. Advertising cookies are only set if you allow advertising measurement; otherwise Google receives cookieless signals only, with ad click identifiers redacted.
  • Meta: Campaign and conversion measurement, only if you allow advertising measurement.
  • Reddit Ads: Advertising measurement only, and only if you accept advertising cookies. It records that a page was visited or an account was created so we can measure our campaigns. We never send Reddit your email address, phone number, account identifiers, orders or any other eBay data.

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your information.

Contentsquare session replay and the background Crisp chat widget are disabled. Support remains available through our contact page without loading a chat service.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Cookies and optional measurement

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are off until you choose. Analytics permission controls Google Analytics cookies. Advertising permission controls Google Ads cookies, Meta and Reddit. We use Google Consent Mode: the Google tag loads with all storage denied, and until you allow it Google only receives cookieless signals (such as a page or sign-up being counted) without setting or reading cookies, which it uses for aggregated, modelled measurement. Meta and Reddit are not loaded at all without advertising permission, and never on private account, checkout, eBay connection, import or dashboard pages. Pages that are not public are reported to Google only as a generic label, never their real address.

Where consent is required, we ask before any measurement cookie is set and record your choice, when you made it and the version of the notice you were shown. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your mind at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer; withdrawing stops further measurement immediately and removes or disables optional tags and advertising cookies where supported (Google switches back to cookieless signals only). We ask again when the notice materially changes; an earlier refusal remains refused.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
