Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about SellerLens and how it helps UK eBay sellers manage their business more efficiently.
Sign up, then authorise SellerLens through eBay's official API sign-in and we begin importing your listings, orders and sales data. How long that first import takes depends on how much sales history your account has, so it can range from a few minutes to considerably longer. Your dashboard fills in as the import progresses.
Your 7-day trial includes full access to all SellerLens features: automatic eBay data sync, real-time profit tracking, inventory management, automated fee calculations, tax reports, and advanced analytics. No card is required to start your trial.
We use the fees and postage charges eBay reports for each order — final value fees, promoted listing fees and eBay postage labels — so those figures match your eBay statements. Where eBay does not supply a figure, such as what you paid for the stock or postage you bought elsewhere, you enter it in SellerLens and we include it in the calculation. Profit accuracy therefore depends on the costs you supply.
SellerLens removes the manual work of copying orders and fees into a spreadsheet — orders, fees and postage charges sync from eBay automatically, so the time you spend is limited to entering the costs eBay doesn't report, such as what you paid for your stock.
You connect through eBay's official API sign-in, so we never see or store your eBay password, and you can revoke access from your eBay account at any time. Data is sent over HTTPS, stored encrypted, and access is restricted to your own account. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what we store and which service providers we use.
Yes, cancel anytime with no questions asked. We also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason within the first 30 days, you'll get a full refund.
Spreadsheets need manual data entry and formulas that are easy to get wrong. SellerLens syncs your eBay orders, fees and postage charges automatically, calculates profit per order, tracks inventory and produces reports — you only need to supply the costs eBay doesn't report.
Yes, SellerLens is currently optimised for UK eBay sellers (ebay.co.uk). We support GBP pricing, UK VAT calculations, and UK-specific eBay features to provide the most accurate profit tracking for UK sellers.
After your 7-day free trial ends, you'll need to subscribe to continue. Your first month is £11.99 (that's £3 off) if you are eligible — New customers only, subject to eligibility. After that it is £14.99/month. No card is required to start the trial. Cancel anytime.
Yes! SellerLens automatically extracts individual shipping label costs from eBay's finance ledger and maps them directly to the correct order — so you can see exactly what you spent on postage for each sale. The only exception is bulk or pre-paid label purchases, which eBay doesn't link to specific orders. Those are shown separately as account-level expenses so nothing gets missed.
We're currently unable to retrieve images for listings that ended before you connected SellerLens to your eBay account, as eBay's API doesn't provide historical image data for ended listings. We're actively working to improve this. In the meantime, you can manually add images to any listing: go to Cost of Goods page, find the listing, and click the image area to upload a photo. This helps you maintain accurate records and identify products more easily.
