The final value fee (FVF) is the commission eBay charges when an item sells. On ebay.co.uk this is typically around 12.8% of the total order value (item plus postage) for most categories, plus a flat 30p per order.
It is charged when the buyer's order completes, regardless of whether you have been paid yet. If the order is refunded, eBay refunds the FVF too, although the 30p per order charge is non-refundable.
No, promoted listing fees are a separate ad fee, calculated as a percentage of the sale price (not including postage). They're charged on top of the FVF when a buyer clicks on a promoted listing and buys within 30 days.
Calculating each order by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. SellerLens pulls your actual FVF, ad fees and 30p charges straight from eBay's financial ledger so you always see the real number.
SellerLens pulls every eBay order, fee and refund automatically, so you see your true profit across your whole shop, not just one item.
